Suma Mwaitenda Collects Nomination Form for Parliamentary Special Seats – Universities

Suma Mwaitenda, a distinguished academic and leader in the construction, sports, and youth development sectors, has officially joined the race to represent higher education institutions in Parliament through Special Seats allocated to Universities under the Women’s Wing of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (UWT-CCM). With this step, Mwaitenda signals her commitment to representing university higher learning in the national decision-making body. Suma Mwaitenda is an Assistant Lecturer at Ardhi University, an expert in construction engineering and project management, a researcher in construction workers’ health and safety, and a gender equality advocate through sports. She participated in the Global Sports Mentoring Program and is the founder of Uhuru Women’s Club. Through her candidacy, Mwaitenda looks forwad to represent higher learning (wasomi) by promoting employment, innovation, inclusive leadership, and sustainable development aligned with Tanzania’s Vision 2050.
